How to Unfreeze a QQ Account
Having a frozen QQ account can stop you from using important features. When QQ freezes an account, a warning message appears and restrictions can prevent you from adding friends or joining group chats. This guide explains the QQ account unfreezing process shown in our video and why international users can get stuck during verification.
What Happens When Your QQ Account Is Frozen?
When you open a frozen QQ account, QQ displays a warning message. You can dismiss the message, but it returns when you try to use restricted features such as adding friends or joining a group. Ignoring the warning does not remove the account restriction.
How to Start the QQ Account Unfreezing Process
Follow the unfreezing option shown in the QQ warning screen. Select the option to continue and complete the SMS verification step when prompted. The exact screens can vary depending on the account and the security checks QQ applies.
Why Does QQ Ask for a Chinese ID and Facial Verification?
After SMS verification, QQ can require Chinese identity information and facial verification to confirm the account holder's identity. A made-up or invalid Chinese ID will not satisfy a genuine identity check. Do not submit false identity information.
When QQ requires Chinese identity details and facial verification that you cannot provide, you cannot complete that verification route yourself.
